Lunatic Fringe Scarf Kit: Precious Stones
This Lunatic Fringe kit is newly distributed by Tisse and File.
It includes enough yarn to make two "deflected" double weaving scarves (approximately 8'' x 56'' after washing) and combines merino wool and mercerized cotton, both in warp and weft.
It uses the properties of each yarn to obtain a fabric with a three-dimensional texture with bulging parts.
In addition to the yarn, each kit includes a pattern for 8 shaft-looms and one for 4 shats.
These scarves will be just the beginning of your passion for double weaving.
Kit content:
- 2 x 1.5 oz cones of Tubular Spectrum mercerized cotton yarn™ in the following colours: 10 Blue; 5 Blue Green; 5 Red Purple (magenta);
- 1 x 1.5 oz cone of Tubular Spectrum mercerized cotton yarn™ in color 5 Purple (purple);
- 1 x 4 oz cone of 2/18 black superfine merino yarn.
