What a yarn!
This superb blend is incredibly soft and light. This yarn is made from 41% Baby Alpaca, 35% Silk, 13% 18.5 Micron Merino and 10% Yak.
This yarn is wonderful. The yak gives the blend a soft, warm color.
The yarn can be dyed or used as is for weaving or knitting. The resulting project will be velvety and wispy.
Weaving: To be used mainly in weft (although its strength would allow it to be used in warp).
Knitting: Ideal for lace shawls or collars, sweaters or mixed with other yarns.
- Single with fine needles
between 2 and 3.5
- in double to thicken it and obtain the effect of a Fingering or Sport yarn.
