To help celebrate their 75th Jubilee, Ashford upgraded both the single & double treadle Joys. All Joy spinning wheels now have this sliding hook flyer as standard.
The Sliding Hook Flyer will also be available as a retro kit for all existing Joys. Note: The Sliding Hook Flyer will not fit in the frame when folded on existing Joys.
The new sliding hook flyer bobbins hold up to 30% more yarn due to larger 90mm (3½ins) bobbin ends - 3 included. With the squeeze-and-slide stainless steel hooks it is easy to fill bobbins evenly and the fibreglass arms make the flyer light and strong.
