Here is a ready-to-weave project to make the Mediterranean blue shawl made of mohair yarn (72%) silk (28%). This yarn is wonderfully soft.
The finished shawl measures about 15 inches x 63 inches.
Although the pattern is written for a 4-shaft looms, it can be woven on a 2 shaft. You will also need two shuttles, two bobbins and a flat shuttle.
The set consists of:
- a 50 g mohair-silk yarn skein in its natural colour;
- two 50 g skeins of hand-dyed mohair-silk yarn (with slight shades of colour) from Tisse and File;
- the pattern with its weaving tips relating to this fiber.
